The awards are presented annually to deserving companies whose business achievements have made an outstanding contribution to the London community.
Each award category is described below, giving a description of the award along with the required criteria. Pdf copies of printable blank award application forms are also available to download.

The London Chamber of Commerce has been recognizing local companies for overall business excellence since 1984 with the Business Achievement Award program. Over the years, awards have been added that focus on specific areas of excellence. The awards are presented annually to companies whose business achievements have made an outstanding contribution to the London community. Awards will be presented to one business in each category. The award categories are - Agribusiness, Corporate Social Responsibility, Environmental Leadership, Excellence in Human Resources, Innovation, Manufacturing and our Business of the Year - small (1-10 employees), medium (11-49 employees), and large (50+ employees).
A1 - Agribusiness
Description
The Agribusiness sector has long been a centerpiece of economic prosperity in the London region and the Chamber looks to celebrate this sector as a consistent driver of the local economy.
Requirements
To be eligible, the nominated business must have been operating for at least 1 fiscal year in the London area.
Recipients of this award in the last 5 years (in the same category), Business Achievement Award sponsors, task force members, are not eligible.

Description
The London Chamber of Commerce has been recognizing local companies for overall business excellence since 1984 with the Business Achievement Award program. Over the years, while other awards have been added that focus on specific areas of excellence, this award recognizes overall excellence. They are presented annually to private sector companies whose business achievements have made an outstanding contribution to the London community. The award will be presented to one small business (1-10 employees).
Requirements
To be eligible, the nominated business must have been operating for at least 1 fiscal year in the London area.
Recipients of this award in the last 5 years (in the same category), Business Achievement Award sponsors, task force members, institutional facilities, and non-profit organizations are not eligible.

They are presented annually to private sector companies whose business achievements have made an outstanding contribution to the London community. The award will be presented to one medium business (11-49 employees).

To be eligible, the nominated business must have been operating for at least 1 fiscal year in the London area.
Recipients of this award in the last 5 years (in the same category), Business Achievement Award sponsors, task force members, institutional facilities, and non-profit organizations are not eligible.

They are presented annually to private sector companies whose business achievements have made an outstanding contribution to the London community. The award will be presented to one large business (50+ employees).
Requirements
To be eligible, the nominated business must have been operating for at least 1 fiscal year in the London area.

G1 - Environmental Leadership
Description
The London Chamber of Commerce is recognizing businesses whose activities enhance or protect the environment while meeting commercial demands. The basic goal is to encourage businesses to acknowledge the policies, programs and actions that minimize the environmental impact of their business and being an environmental steward in the community. The outcomes can include increased operational efficiency and perhaps even cost savings.

D1 - Excellence in Human Resources
Description
The London Chamber of Commerce and the Human Resources Professionals Association London and District (HRPA) are recognizing businesses whose human resources policies and practices promote innovative solutions to current challenges. This Award is designed to stimulate and recognize human resources excellence in any company that develops and uses best practices in recruitment, retention, and talent management. Organizations must demonstrate a focus on diversity through: creating an organizational community that includes all employees, employing people with a broad range of backgrounds and abilities, and participating in community outreach.
Requirements
To be eligible, the nominated business must have been operating for at least 1 fiscal year in the London area. Recipients of this award in the last 5 years (in the same category), Business Achievement Award sponsors, task force members are not eligible. One member of the HR team applying for the award must be a member in good standing with the HRPA.

Description
The Innovation Award recognizes excellence in the application of existing or new technology in the development of new products, services or business processes and/or improvements to existing products, services or business processes that lead to consistent growth and job creation.

The manufacturing sector has been the backbone of commerce in London for the past 125 years. Alive and well in the city of London, today it accounts for over 25% of the labour market. With investment, growth, and productivity souring, the Chamber looks to celebrate this sector as a consistent driver of the local economy.
