Do I need to be a Chamber member to be nominated?
No. Anyone can be nominated as long as your company is based and doing business in the London area.
When is our completed application due?
Applications must be submitted by Friday May 6, 2022
Our company has been nominated in more than one category. May we submit applications for all of them?
No, you may only stand for one award, so choose the one that best fits your company's achievements.
How many finalists are in each category?
The top two ranked companies for each award category will be considered finalists and will be visited by a team of finalist judges in June. For our Business of the Year categories, the top four companies are considered finalists.
What is all involved with the site visit? What do I need to do to prepare?
If your company is chosen as a finalist, you will be notified of by the award coordinator of your company's site tour date & time. Site tours will be scheduled for June 2022. Each award finalist will have a set amount of time, so it's best if you have a presentation ready. Please refer to the site tour guidelines to help you organize & plan for the visit. Most award categories are given one hour for the site tours, so manage your time accordingly.
This is your opportunity to really impress the judges and expand on the information you provided in your application. You will also be scored on the site tour in the following areas: 1) time management 2) quality of presentation and 3) Quality of Q & A.
Remember... this is your chance to WOW the judges and show them why your company is deserving of the award!
Why should I stand for nomination?
Past winners will attest that the recognition they received by participating in this program has benefited their business, and we encourage you to go forward and complete the application for nomination.
What if my company representative has changed?
Closer to the gala, the chamber will be forwarding the list of all the award finalist representatives. This list of names is during the gala evening to call up the award recipients should your company be chosen as the winner. Prior to the event, if there are any changes to your company representative, please inform Julia at the Chamber. If there are any last minute changes the day of the event, please notify the Wizards staff at the tech booth of the revision.
How do I create an account?
Click here to find the "nominee account" form. Fill in your name, contact information, and email and password, and you're set! When you sign up, you'll be logged in automatically and can start creating your entries right away.
Where do I go to submit entries?
When you first log into your account , you'll see a "Start a new entry" form. Simply choose which category you want to enter, give your entry a title, and click the "Start" button. In the form that loads, you will find all the information you need in order to submit an entry to your selected category. You don't have to complete your entry all in one sitting. Hit the "Save" button any time, and come back to it later.
When you're finished, tap the "Add to cart" button at the bottom of the entry form. Your entries are considered "officially entered".
Is there a cost?
There is no cost to submit an application. But if selected as a finalist, you agree to participate in the finalist presentation and to purchase tickets to attend the awards gala on September 27, 2022.
Can I make changes to my entry after I've submitted it?
Yes, you can continue to edit your entries until the submission deadline. After the deadline, you will be able to view your entries, but the editing controls will be disabled.
Do I need any kind of special software to make my entries?
This awards system is entirely web-based. You can create your entries on your phone, iPad, laptop, or any computer. All you need is a browser.
How do you protect my information?
Your account is protected by industry-leading 4096-bit encryption, and the entire system is backed up every day.
